Because of minimum layover times, I'm only able to book myself on the 12:30 flight. But. If my original flight from origin to layover time gets in early and arrives at 9:45 instead of 10 AM, I can probably hoof it to the gate for the 10:30 flight to my final destination and see if there's any open seats, and get on that earlier flight.
I’m flying southwest for the first time in 10 years due to a last minute work trip (my usual airline wasn’t available) and I just don’t get why anyone would chose this regularly. Their app is a joke.
It was an early Sunday morning flight and we were A 17 and 18. Only 3 wheelchairs of folks who obviously needed them. Flight less than half full. Then the super Southwest win, no one had upgraded to A 1-15 so basically we boarded first. Flight crew was very chill and the entire boarding was relaxed.
