If you decide not to travel as a result of a significant flight delay or Southwest-initiated cancellation, you can cancel your reservation and then request either a) receive a method-of-payment refund or b) hold the value of the ticket as a flight credit that you can use to buy a future flight.
If you have been affected by a Southwest-initiated cancellation, you can self-serve and change each flight date/time in your original reservation, both the impacted and non-impacted, by up to 14 days from your original travel date and up to two times at no additional cost.
If booked with Wanna Get Away® or with Wanna Get Away Plus™ fare class and you cancelled your flight at least 10 minutes prior to travel, the air portion of your booking will be refunded in a Southwest Airlines air credit, which may be used on a future trip with Southwest Vacations.
