If you are accessing your reservation less than 24 hours prior to departure, simply go to the Online Check-in tab and follow the instructions to access your reservation. You can then click the "Add Bags" link to purchase additional bags.
Checking in online at Spirit.com is free, and it's the quickest way to check in for your flight and print your boarding pass. Check-in begins 24 hours before departure and ends an hour prior to departure. This is also a good time to buy a seat assignment or last minute bags – it will be less expensive online than at the airport.
4 Ιουν 2022 · The Spirit baggage weight and oversize fees are as follows: Overweight fee: $50 per bag if 41 to 50 pounds, an additional $75 per bag if 50 to 70 pounds and an additional $75 per bag if 71 to 100 pounds. Oversized fee: Starting at $100 per bag if 63 to 80 inches, including wheels and handles.
All Guests have the ability to purchase one checked bag; however, some flights have less available space for additional checked bags. Should there be space available, you can check up to 5 checked bags.
* If your journey originates from Africa and your ticket was issued before 11 May 2020, you can check in two pieces of baggage weighing up to 23 kg each in Economy Special. Baggage allowance for flights within the Americas and between US and Europe: Travel from Australia, New Zealand, or Asia.
