We may require a carry-on bag to travel as a checked bag if it cannot be safely stowed on a particular flight. Checked bags: Maximum of 62 linear inches (length + width + height; 158 cm) including handles and wheels and maximum of 50 pounds (22.6 kg) in weight.
You can check in as many bags as you like up to the weight allowance for your travel class. Each individual bag must not weigh more than 32kg. The weight concept applies to all routes, except when you travel to and from the Americas and from Africa (for tickets issued before 9 August 2021).
Print. How can I check in and get my boarding pass? Views: Checking in online at Spirit.com is free, and it's the quickest way to check in for your flight and print your boarding pass. Check-in begins 24 hours before departure and ends an hour prior to departure.
You can check in as early as 24 hours and as late as 4 hours before your flight departs. Present your health documents and check-in your baggage. We’ll send a mobile boarding pass to your email to present on your phone through the airport, or we can print one out.
Current bag prices are available here. One personal item that fits in the smaller sizer box (like a small backpack) is included with your ticket. Another personal item or anything larger like a standard carry-on or checked bag will need to be paid for.
If you are departing from Dubai, you can drop off your bags 24 hours before departure, or 12 hours before departure if you’re flying to the US. Please note that online check-in is not available if the first flight in your itinerary is not an Emirates flight.
