5 Φεβ 2024 · Spirit Airlines Oversized Baggage. Anything under 62 linear inches means your Spirit Airlines checked bag is fit to fly under regular checked bag fees. Linear inches are calculated by adding the total length, width, and height of your bag.
Current bag prices are available here. One personal item that fits in the smaller sizer box (like a small backpack) is included with your ticket. Another personal item or anything larger like a standard carry-on or checked bag will need to be paid for.
You can check in as many bags as you like up to the weight allowance for your travel class. Each individual bag must not weigh more than 32kg. The weight concept applies to all routes, except when you travel to and from the Americas and from Africa (for tickets issued before 9 August 2021).
