Bags purchased within 24 hours prior to departure will be charged at the online check-in rate, so buy bags early and save major moola. If you don’t check in online, our kiosks at the airport are self-serve and easy to use. Some Guests may not be able to complete check-in online (see below).
If you are accessing your reservation less than 24 hours prior to departure, simply go to the Online Check-in tab and follow the instructions to access your reservation. You can then click the "Add Bags" link to purchase additional bags.
We may require a carry-on bag to travel as a checked bag if it cannot be safely stowed on a particular flight. Checked bags: Maximum of 62 linear inches (length + width + height; 158 cm) including handles and wheels and maximum of 50 pounds (22.6 kg) in weight.
4 Ιουν 2022 · Generally speaking, you'll pay an extra $5 if you pre-purchase a carry-on bag before online check-in and an additional $5 if you wait until checking in online. If you decide to wait until you get to the gate to board your flight, the price will be even higher.

22 Νοε 2020 · All travelers are allowed a maximum of five checked bags: Your first checked bag on Spirit will cost you $37 during booking, $47 during check-in and $50-$65 at the airport. Your second checked bag on Spirit will cost you $45 during booking, $55 during check-in and $60 at the airport.
