Popular names like United, Southwest, Delta, and American also don't allow dogs to travel in the baggage compartment, with some making an exception for active-duty U.S. military personnel or State Department Foreign Service officials.

It applies a weight restriction on flight and the combined weight of the pet and carrier can’t exceed 40 pounds. Spirit doesn’t accept any pets on international flights, except for service animals.
