I am allowed up to 10 kgs for both carry on baggage and personal item. I don’t have luggage scale so not sure how is the weight in total. Will they weigh out carry on and personal item during check in and boarding? Are they very strict about it?

On all Volaris flights, each passenger is allowed one (1) carry-on bag and one (1) personal item. Both items must not weigh more than 15 lb (6.8 kg) and the external dimensions (H+L+W) must not exceed 41.2 in (104.6 cm).
