Sex on the Beach (or “S.O.T.B.”) a cocktail created in the late 1950s by George T Smith. He was a bartender at the original Copacabana in New York City. He named it after his favorite beach in the area, Sands Point Beach, where he would spend time during his breaks from working at the Copa.
