The USOS Seaview burst into our consciousness’ (literally at the start of Irwin Allen’s 1961 film “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea”) and has attained a cult status amongst many of a certain age from both this movie and the four seasons of a television follow up which ran from 1964 until 1968.

Four years ago, Moebius Models released their much-anticipated kit of the submarine Seaview in 1/128 scale (which translates to a model length of 37 inches). That kit represented the Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea television series version from season two and beyond ( look here ).
