6 Ιουλ 2024 · Update mods. To update a mod, just replace its files with the new versions (making sure to keep generated files like config.json). More detailed steps: Download the new mod version. Check the mod page for any special update instructions. Unzip it somewhere else (not in your Mods folder).
How to update your mods. While there are mod managers available that will automatically update your mods for you, like Vortex on NexusMods, it is highly recommended that you update your mods the exact same way you installed them. Delete the mod's folder from your Stardew Valley\Mods folder.
Modding:Index. Mods are packages of files which change Stardew Valley in some way. Mods can add features (like showing NPCs on the map), change game mechanics (like making fences decay more slowly), make cosmetic changes (like making your house look like a hobbit home), and much more.
Downloading mod updates is done manually, via the NexusMods website. The Mod Update Check tool will allow you to open the link to the mod in the browser when an update is found, however a NexusMods account will be required to download the mod from the website.
1 Μαΐ 2024 · About This Release. This is an emergency hotfix for the Stardew Valley Mod Manager. When working on a new feature for the following update, we discovered a vital flaw that would cause the application to become unstable when enabling or disabling multiple mods.
SMAPI 4.0 mainly updates for Stardew Valley 1.6, improves performance and compatibility rewriting, adds per-mod-folder settings, and removes Error Handler (which is now integrated into the game itself).
