15 Αυγ 2020 · Unofficial updates fix mod compatibility when the author is away. This thread lets you download and request them.
How to update your mods. While there are mod managers available that will automatically update your mods for you, like Vortex on NexusMods, it is highly recommended that you update your mods the exact same way you installed them. Delete the mod's folder from your Stardew Valley\Mods folder.

Downloading mod updates is done manually, via the NexusMods website. The Mod Update Check tool will allow you to open the link to the mod in the browser when an update is found, however a NexusMods account will be required to download the mod from the website.

SMAPI 4.0 mainly updates for Stardew Valley 1.6, improves performance and compatibility rewriting, adds per-mod-folder settings, and removes Error Handler (which is now integrated into the game itself).
