Having a number that’s one digit away from the correct number that represents itself as customer service when it isn’t seems like an obvious channel for scamming to me. I’m saying I don’t think I am actually at risk in my circumstance but wanted to know if I was missing anything.
Final call means just that. You don’t have to board the second you are told you can. Personally, I board ASAP because I want space for my carry on. But, if the story is as OP is telling (which is always an if on Reddit), Frontier sounds like they are in the wrong.
