Birmingham Police said a group of juveniles were in the area Sunday morning with a firearm, but they don’t yet know what led to the shooting, WBRC reported. The 14-year-old was brought to the University of Alabama Hospital in a minivan just before 7 a.m. and was pronounced dead.
