13 Φεβ 2017 · The coolant/water outlet on the 1.4L Turbo engine has a high rate of failure and typically begins to leak at the joint between the water outlet and the recovery tank hose. The repair involves replacement of both the water outlet and the recovery tank hose.
15 Ιουν 2018 · I couldn't really locate the link, so i replaced the water outlet, heater hose, turbo hose, and expansion tank hose. The heater hose was in bad shape, looks like it was degraded by oil. The hose clamp tool worked well, much better than pliers.
1 Ιουν 2011 · There is both a water inlet and a water outlet, these are the two points in which the coolant flows in and out of your engine block. Since yours was a water outlet "housing" it may be the location of your thermostat.
Think about where the weep (telltale) hole is located - directly next to the water pump intake. When the engine is running, the water pump is sucking coolant up right next to the hole. If the seal is compromised, it could in fact suck air up in through it.
10 Απρ 2010 · The GL1500 water pump is easyto remove. Remove the lower cowl, the 2 hoses on the water pump and then the 4 bolts. Tap the pump and off it comes.
