Hey guys, I never played Hog 2.6 for 5 years, I'm 4600, I tried playing this deck because the hype if going on and on forever, so I've been playing it recently, and other than my level 11 hog and log, everything else is level 7-9, I'm still beating level 12 king level players with level 13 cards, I do not know how.
You need to figure out early on what deck your opponent is using and try keep track of their cycle. The ice spirit is a good opening play at the bridge as it can potentially get chip damage at the tower.
