18 Απρ 2013 · The car is known as one of the earliest California Look VWs in Japan. The chopped Bug is powered by a built 2180cc motor with dual 48IDA Webers. Of course, it’s wearing a set of FLAT4’s original BRM wheels complete with old school Firestone Wide Oval rubber in the rear.
The manufacturer achieved worldwide fame in 1991 by replicating the legendary BRM rim, which is simply the best-known light-alloy wheel in the air-cooled VW world. Today FLAT4 is known for its high-quality reproduction of OEM- and accessory-parts.
11 Δεκ 2019 · Located along a narrow tight street in Meguro district, Flat-4 is a four-storey building with a private VW classic museum that is NOT OPEN to public, just private viewing allowed for close friends. The ground floor houses a collection of restored and partially custom air-cooled Volkswagens of various models depending on their rolling sales stock.
