The La Jolla Underwater Park can be reached from La Jolla Shores or from the small beach in La Jolla Cove near Scripps Park. The snorkeling is great. Lots of fish, such as the wonderful orange Garibaldi (best to see near Scripps Park) and exciting Leopard Shark in the deeper areas.
