San Mateo Prime is kind of like House of Prime Rib and Broadway Prime, albeit with far fewer people - I can dig it! Ended up getting a 12oz cut and ate well. The huge salad, two sides, and turnover made sure we ate our fill, and everything came out super fresh.

San Mateo Prime offers high quality steaks and classic American fare. The oven-baked crab dip made with artichokes, cream and parmesan is served with toasted sourdough bread to make a delicious starter.

We can also comfortably seat up to 120 guests within the entire restaurant for a private event.
Super reliable prime rib, spot, à la house of prime rib in San Francisco. Really well cooked steak, whether prime rib, or fillet and exactly the sides we were hoping for. Some old world and attentive service made the whole experience really excellent.
