Form I-9 consists of: Section 1: Employee Information and Attestation. Section 2: Employer Review and Verification. Lists of Acceptable Documents. Supplement A, Preparer and/or Translator Certification for Section 1. Supplement B, Reverification and Rehire (formerly Section 3) EMPLOYEES.
Federal law requires that every employer who recruits, refers for a fee, or hires an individual for employment in the U.S. must complete Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification.
