We've streamlined our baggage policy with simplified weight allowances across all fare types. If you booked your ticket before 16 April 2024, the baggage allowance on your booking confirmation still applies. To check your baggage allowance, enter your flight details at etihad.com/manage.
If you are flying in Economy to the US or Canada, you can check in two bags weighing up to 23kg each. Excess baggage fees will apply if either bag weighs more than 23kg. Use our calculator to work out the checked baggage allowance for your flight.
The maximum weight per bag is 32kg. If your allowance is more than 32kg, please make sure items are distributed evenly across bags. Oversized bags. You'll be charged an oversized baggage fee of USD $40 – $60 for items larger than our standard baggage dimensions. They must not weigh more than 32kg or be longer than 300cm.

Allowance for Flights To/From the U.S. and Canada: Economy: 2 bags (50 pounds/23 kg each) Business/First Class: 2 bags (70 pounds/32 kg each) For All Other Routes: All first class cabin passengers get an allowance of 110-132 pounds (50-60 kg).
