I was looking at flights from San Diego to Chicago in August, and the prices for Spirit are just so hard to turn down. I know there's extra fees, but roundtrip flights range from $118-147 for my dates, with the next cheapest being a single Delta at $280 and a layover, and the rest being $360+.
Lounges are closed and perks are being trimmed so figure out what's important to you and find the airline that matches your needs. Spirit is fine and the big seat (i think that's what it's called) is about the same as business class on most 737's. If you're trying so save money, compare all the costs.
I've seen tons of anecdotal evidence about Sprit Airlines but is it really that bad? I just have a 4hour flight and the difference in price does really tempt me
16 Μαρ 2024 · I would rate this flight an overall 10/10. Typically, Spirit Airlines is the cheapest carrier on the Newark to Charleston route. While you can fly this route with United for only $150 to $200 more, it is not worth it, as the only extra service you get, besides a slightly worse seat, is a bag of chips and a drink.
