We charge for carry-ons, checked bags and overweight checked bags. We charge more for checked bags over 50 lbs. One personal item that fits entirely in the smaller sizer box (like a purse, small backpack, etc.) is included with your ticket.
5 Φεβ 2024 · Just as with carry-on bags, Spirit Airlines checked bag fees vary depending on when you book them and the size of the bag. But the weight is critical. Spirit checked bags cannot exceed 40 pounds without getting hit with additional fees.
2 ημέρες πριν · For overweight baggage, Spirit charges $79 for bags weighing 41 to 50 pounds and $125 for bags weighing 51 to 100 pounds. If your bags are oversized (63 to 80 inches) then you will be charged $150; for special items over 80 inches, the fee is $150.

4 Φεβ 2024 · If your bag weighs more than 40 lbs, you will be charged an additional $79 per bag. If the bag exceeds 50 lbs, the price jumps to $125 per bag. Spirit Airlines refuses to carry any bag which weighs 100 pounds or more. Spirit may have the lowest cost base fare, but once one adds the luggage cost, it might not be the lowest fare anymore.

Oversized fee: Starting at $100 per bag if 63 to 80 inches, including wheels and handles.
