Current bag prices are available here. One personal item that fits in the smaller sizer box (like a small backpack) is included with your ticket. Another personal item or anything larger like a standard carry-on or checked bag will need to be paid for.

Bags purchased within 24 hours prior to departure will be charged at the online check-in rate, so buy bags early and save major moola. If you don’t check in online, our kiosks at the airport are self-serve and easy to use. Some Guests may not be able to complete check-in online (see below).
Be ready with Cancel For Any Reason – Cancel for Any Reason guarantees a 100% refund of the initial cost of the reservation to the original form of payment. The protection is available on the Options page when booking at spirit.com and the Cancel for Any Reason charge is nonrefundable.
We may require a carry-on bag to travel as a checked bag if it cannot be safely stowed on a particular flight. Checked bags: Maximum of 62 linear inches (length + width + height; 158 cm) including handles and wheels and maximum of 50 pounds (22.6 kg) in weight.
It’s the easiest and least expensive way to check in. Online check-in begins 24 hours prior to departure and ends an hour prior to your flight's scheduled departure. While you’re checking in online, you should purchase any additional bags and/or desired seat assignments. Bags cost more at the airport.
