Current bag prices are available here. One personal item that fits in the smaller sizer box (like a small backpack) is included with your ticket. Another personal item or anything larger like a standard carry-on or checked bag will need to be paid for.

Bags purchased within 24 hours prior to departure will be charged at the online check-in rate, so buy bags early and save major moola. If you don’t check in online, our kiosks at the airport are self-serve and easy to use. Some Guests may not be able to complete check-in online (see below).
Connecting Guests must claim all baggage regardless of final destination upon arrival in the U.S. After clearing Customs, Guests with connecting flights are required to re-check all checked bags with a Spirit Airlines Guest Service Agent. 5 Φεβ 2024 · If it's more than 62 inches, then it's considered oversized baggage and will be subject to a $150 fee on top of your checked bag fee. And if your Spirit Airlines checked bag is more than 80 linear inches, it won't be accepted, period – unless it's a considered special item.
