I recently booked a trip with Travel with Alan after watching their email for many years. Their customer service is horrible after payment was made. I literally have spent a whole day correctly misinformation from one of their agent.
Those who post negative reviews of this company often complain that Alan or deputy can be a bit controlling for their liking. Others must like the company or it would not stay in business. You have already booked your tour, so what do you hope to gain from asking questions now?

The Email spells out exactly what you get, what is included and sometimes the price for upgrades available and always the full price.
