I have (tried) using Spirit airline and both time they cancelled my flight. The first time, they cancelled my flight last minute and I had to wait for two whole days to board the next available flight. This is simply ridiculous. The most terrible airline even for budget airline standard.

Spirit is a budget airline and they don't shy away from it. It's excellent if you want to save money and travel light. People who complain probably arrived at the airport with two bags and a large carry on.
