27 Ιαν 2020 · if your cursor is unable to click (it has no effect) when watching a video full screen do this steps. pull down the “ Safari ” menu and choose “ Preferences ”. Select the “ Search ” tab. Uncheck the box next to “ Show Favorites ” under the 'Smart Search Field' section.
After one of the latest Safari update (9.0.1 I believe) I can't use fullscreen option on Youtube properly. When I open youtube page and press F the player goes fullscreen, but the video area itself doesn't (and actually became smaller), so the rest of display is black and unused.

17 Απρ 2021 · I was experiencing this in Safari 14 on a Mac. The fix, for me, was just to go to the Mac's System Preferences > Displays > Color tab, and switch the display profile from sRGB IEC61966-2.1, to any other profile. That's all it took, no more weird color shift during playback.
21 Ιουν 2014 · Whenever I bring a video to fullscreen on YouTube (on Chrome or Safari), the video will go to fullscreen but the dock and menu bar remain visible, covering the top and bottom parts of the video. They used to be hidden when I went to fullscreen, so I don't know what happened.
