If you have any type of interest in space or airplanes, you owe it to yourself to visit one of these aviation museums in Virginia. Just like most other states, Virginia has something to brag about when it comes to aviation and space.
World-class interpretive exhibits with innovative technology and unique artifacts surround visitors and immerse them in the sights and sounds of Marines in action. The Museum is a public-private partnership between the U.S. Marine Corps and the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation.
TAKE THE TOUR. The main museum buildings are available for self-guided exploration daily from 9am – 5pm. Guests also have the opportunity to experience a guided tour led by a Museum Docent that includes several of our historic buildings, and non-public facilities.
The National Museum of the Marine Corps is the historical museum of the United States Marine Corps.
