Air New Zealand | Air Points - NZ Domestic Seat Assignment Question - Dear NZ experts, I have been reading through threads regarding seat assignments on Air New Zealand. I bought myself a few NZ domestic tickets, and have noticed that Air New Zealand blocked eight out of the the twelve exit row seats on A320.
If you're travelling on a seat only or seat+bag fare on New Zealand domestic or if you're on a seat only fare on Tasman and Islands flights, you can select your desired seat in advance using paid seatselect.

28 Νοε 2012 · Air New Zealand is now offering seats 4D, 4E, 4F, 5D, 5E, and 5F as part of its for-sale Preferred seating option -- those are the green-marked sections below. These were previously regular economy seats, not the extra-legroom Space+ section.
9 Ιουν 2024 · So I called Air NZ immediately, where I learned that if a booking is changed, selected seats are lost unless they are PAID seats. So I should have re-selected our seats after the agent completed her changes, but I was not aware.
