The Community Development Department is responsible for various land use and development related activities throughout the Township. Construction and zoning permits are issued from this office as well as permits for garage sales, dumpsters, POD-style temporary storage units.

Arrange an inspection time: Contact the Building Division at 248-433-7715 between 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM the morning of the scheduled inspection to get a time frame from the inspector. You may have to leave a message and they will return your phone call.
Schedule an Inspection. Submit an inspection request for a record online. Inspections scheduled on Monday through Friday before 9pm can be scheduled for the next business day. Inspections scheduled on Saturday through Sunday are scheduled for Tuesday.
