That rule about cancelling within 24 hours (for flights at least 7 days out) is from the US DOT (edit: that's the federal Department of Transportation) and applies to all airlines when booked directly through the airline’s website.

8 Φεβ 2024 · The only JetBlue awards that aren’t refundable are Blue Basic tickets with TrueBlue points, which are subjected to a $100-200 redeposit fee in the event you need to cancel. For TrueBlue, you must change or cancel your award ticket prior to the scheduled departure time of your flight, or the ticket will be forfeited.

If you cancel and it was 20% off and you spent 5k points (normally 6,250 points) and $5.60, you will get 5k points back and $5.60 in Travel Bank.
Hey, does anyone know if you can cancel a Blue Basic flight for a flight credit because of COVID-19? It won't let me cancel online and I can't call right now.
16 Φεβ 2024 · If you need to cancel Blue Basic reservations, you'll be charged a $100 to $200 fee. For routes in North America, Central America and the Caribbean, the fee is $100 per person. For all other routes, the fee is $200 per person.
