Request a refund if your flight was canceled or significantly delayed (>120 minutes), or if you experienced a downgrade in your class of service. You may receive one of the following: An eCredit for the value of the ticket or seat purchase; A refund to your original form of payment
If you have experienced a flight cancellation or significant delay of greater than 120 minutes and no longer want to travel on your remaining itinerary, you can first cancel your itinerary via My Trips and then use the Travel Disruption Refund Request form to submit a refund request for the unflown portion of your ticket.
Tickets purchased directly from Delta, including Basic Economy fares, are included in our 24-Hour Risk-Free Cancellation policy. This means you have up to 24 hours after booking to cancel your ticket for any reason and receive a full refund with no change or cancellation fees.
Request a refund if your flight was canceled or significantly delayed (>120 minutes), and you elect not to travel. Request hotel, transportation and / or meal reimbursement on this form if your flight was significantly delayed or canceled as a result of an issue caused by Delta (within our control).
