Delta Sigma Phi (ΔΣΦ), commonly known as Delta Sig, is a fraternity established in 1899 at The City College of New York (CCNY). It was the first fraternity to be founded based on religious and ethnic acceptance.
Since 1899, Delta Sigma Phi has issued 238 charters in 41 states (United States of America), Washington, D.C., and 3 provinces in Canada. Currently, the Fraternity has active chapters and new chapters in 32 states and Washington, D.C. All three former chapters in Canada are dormant.
The Ohio Lambda chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon was founded at Kent State University on April 25th, 1953, and has continued to enrich the Kent community ever since. Today, our chapter leads the way for Kent's Greek community in multiple areas, including academics and campus involvement.
