These instructions will guide you through the process of assembling and installing your router or spindle mount. The design of our Ballscrew Z-Axis Moving Plate allows these mounts to be located at various heights to fit your particular application.
It can mount directly to 15 series and 40 series aluminum extrusion, or to the Ballscrew Z Axis on our PRO CNC and Benchtop PRO machines. What's Included: The 80 mm spindle mount mount is available in the following configurations:
Prepare the spindle bracket. Drill holes as described here (or use the Fusion file). Mount Spindle bracket: The Spindle bracket is clamped to the tramming plate with (4) M6x40 bolts. The (4) M5x20 bolts are used to push the spindle away from the tram plate for tramming.
To use this spindle, you may need to update the firmware on your Control Box and LCD Pendant before using this spindle. See Page 9 for information on how to identify and update the firmware.
