NYC Ferry (“NYCF”) administers the Ferry Discount Program (“Ferry Discount Program”). The Ferry Discount Program permits eligible individuals to purchase a reduced fare One-Way Ticket for the NYCF. Ferry Discount Program eligible riders include:
Ferry Discount Program. There are two tickets types available for purchase, single-ride or 30-day passes. Buy the one that best fits your needs. All transfers within the NYC Ferry system are free and valid for 90 minutes once you start your one-way trip.
Tickets are available for purchase through website, ticket machines, and NYC Ferry app. All tickets include free transfers, zero bike fees and valid for 120 minutes once you start your one-way trip.
The Ferry Discount Program was created to provide opportunities for seniors, people with disabilities, people who participate in the Fair Fares NYC program, and students currently enrolled at the New York Harbor School to access NYC Ferry with a reduced fare ticket price of $1.35. There’s also a $30 dollar ferry ticket as well. Kids are permitted to ride the NYC Ferry for free as long as they are no taller than 44 inches.
