Answer. Passenger Locator Forms (PLFs) are used by public health authorities to facilitate cross border contact tracing in case travellers are exposed to an infectious disease during their travel by plane, ship (cruise/ferry), rail, bus or automobile.
5 Μαρ 2022 · From 6 March 2022, international travellers to Ireland will no longer be required to show proof of vaccination, recovery or a negative PCR test upon arrival. There will no longer be any requirement to complete a COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form for travel to Ireland.
As already communicated, any passenger arriving to Ireland must complete a passenger locator form (www.gov.ie/locatorform) online in advance of travel. Ferry companies are required to deny boarding to any passenger who does not produce an e-receipt from a completed Covid-19 Passenger Locator Form.
