Online check-in for flights from the U.S. opens 24 hours prior to departure and check-in for flights to the U.S. opens 24 hours prior to departure from Doha. For all other flights, online check-in is available 48 hours to 90 minutes prior to departure.
Depending on your airline and ticket, there are different ways to reach the check-in area: If you’re flying with Qatar Airways as a First or Business Class passenger, then you will find it most convenient to enter the Departure hall through Entry Gate 1 and, if required, use the East short-term car park .
Check-in. In order to check in for your flight at Doha Airport (DOH), go to departures hall in the main building terminal, or follow the instructions provided in your ticket.

28 Αυγ 2023 · Qatar Airways recommends you check-in 3 hours before your departure time. Normally, the check-in counter closes 1 hour before departure, and the boarding gates close 20 minutes before departure. So, 2.5/2 hrs is fine.
At DOH, you can check-in whenever you want (I believe there is a 24-hour-limit, but beyond that...). At outstations, it's usually 3 hours (unless OLCI without bags, or there are alternatives to bag drop at counter - such as Jewel at SIN, or Airport Express in Hong Kong).
