When booking hotels I check the prices at Expedia, Venere and direct. It varies from booking to booking as to which is cheaper and sometimes there is quite a margin. I have booked with Expedia a few times and never had any sort of problem, either booking or cancelling.

We have lots of threads here and on the Bargain forum about Expedia. They are one of the largest resellers out there, so there will be complaints, but you don't to be that big by being bad. Take a careful look at what you are buying. Are there connections? Are they tight? If one flight gets canceled or is late, what happens to your itinerary?
