3 Απρ 2024 · Use Form I-9 to verify the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States. All U.S. employers must properly complete Form I-9 for every individual they hire for employment in the United States. This includes citizens and noncitizens.

Federal law requires that every employer who recruits, refers for a fee, or hires an individual for employment in the U.S. must complete Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification.
5 Οκτ 2023 · October 5, 2023. Starting Nov. 1, you can only use Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, with the 08/01/2023 edition date. A revised Spanish edition of Form I-9 with an edition date of 08/01/2023 is available for use in Puerto Rico only and by other employers as a translation aid.
