You can reboot as prompted or reboot after all of them are done. If you run into problems, reboot, then try again. Feel free to run the MCPR tool; if it succeeds, you are finished; if not, continue to Step 2.
I just go to settings, search engine and switch back to Google as default. This happens every time I unknowingly give Mcaffee permission to switch by clicking OK or done on a Macaffe pop up.
26 Σεπ 2014 · Chosen solution. After digging around a bit I found the solution, I had to delete "McSiteAdvisor" located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\browser\searchplugins.
