I used to use Kayak for many years, but now they seem to host a lot of scam travel agencies that bait-and-switch flights. They take no responsibility when I contacted them and still host the scam companies.

Kayak allows a range of known scam travel agents to sell flights through their website and app. It is impossible to ascertain which are real companies and which are the scam artists - these are known scam travel agents selling today through Kayak: Trading names: CallForUmrah. Clickaholiday. Getacruise. Getaflight.

I booked a flight through Chatdeal/Kayak. Worst mistake in my life. They are telling me every week that I'm entitled for a refund through American Airlines, but that they are waiting for a response. It has been two months! Which government agency can I approach about this to file a complaint?
To make a complaint, you’d have to find out in which country Chatdeal is based and make a complaint to that countries consumer organisation, if they even have one. Personally I’d just write it off, get your ticket and not waste any more time on this.
