If another person is to travel, a new ticket must be issued. The new booking is subject to current availability and current fares. The original ticket may be refunded in line with the fare conditions. Only one name correction per person is permitted.
A name correction allows the agency to correct the name to match the TSA government required document(s) for miss-spelling, married/maiden/divorce names, legal names, secondary last name, inverted names, etc., and the SFPD DOB/Gender does not change from the original input for ticketing.
Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air do not allow name changes in principal as the ticket and reservation are personal. The purpose of this policy is to correct or amend a name should the following criteria be met. The charge for the name change is filed in the tax field with the OC code with the amount of 23 EUR for Greek and International agencies.
Build a new PNR with the correct name and book flights and booking classes based on current availability. (itinerary must be the same origin and same destination as the original ticket.) The new ticket must be issued on 205-NH ticket stock.
1 Μαρ 2023 · Travel agents may make a correction to the last name and reissue the ticket without a waiver code. Corrections to the last name is limited to a maximum of three characters; if a correction to the last name requires more than three characters, please contact Global Sales Support for assistance.
These guidelines apply to all name corrections which meet the following requirements: Issued on OS (257), LH (220) or LX (724) document. OS/LH/LX flight number and operated by OS/LH/LX/WK. Generally, only one single name correction per person is permitted. Changing the person travelling is never allowed.
Name corrections may not be made within 24 hours of departure as the flight is under airport control. Correct name requires new PNR for the appropriate Type of Major Name Correction. Itinerary: The itinerary in the new PNR must be the same flights, inventory, origin /destination/routing.
