For international flights, Lufthansa’s baggage allowance is 1 bag (50 pounds/23 kg) for economy, 2 bags (50 pounds/23 kg) for premium economy, 2 bags (70 pounds/32 kg) for business class, and 3 bags (70 pounds/32 kg) for first class.
European flights. For flights within Europe the free baggage rules are determined by the new Europe fare options: Economy Light: 1 piece of carry-on baggage up to 8 kg only. Economy Classic / Flex: 1 piece of carry-on baggage up to 8 kg; 1 bag up to 23 kg.
Each piece of Lufthansa Airlines carry-on baggage must not exceed the size of 55cm x 40cm x 23cm and weight of 8kg. All Lufthansa passengers are also permitted a small item of cabin baggage (personal item or accessory), such as a handbag or laptop bag, measuring maximum 30cm x 40cm x10cm.
On domestic and European flights, Economy Class passengers are generally allowed one free checked bag up to 23kg (50lbs), and Business Class passengers can bring two free checked bags with the same weight limit.
