Repair Your Medal App. Enable Early Access. Refresh Medal. Refreshing the Medal app can potentially help with loading corrupt clips due to a variety of reasons. When you refresh the app, it often clears temporary data, cache, and any glitches that may be hindering the proper loading of clips.
If your game is detected by Medal, but Medal is not taking clips/recording, try these solutions: Make sure you are using the correct hotkey. The default hotkey is F8. You can find your hotkey in Settings > Clips & Recording > Clipping Hotkeys.
Overlay missing and clipping not working. Question. I have GeForce Experience working in the background and have tried reinstalling, turning on record, launch and record, and restarted my pc. Another question: Can you store the clips directly to a usb via setting it as the capture folder location.

If you have checked to make sure you don't have any conflicting software running, but you are still getting black clips, please try turning on Advanced Window Capture in Settings > Clips & Recoding under the special features category.
To do that, go to Medal's Settings > Clips & Recording > Custom Game Presets and click on the trashcan icon on the game's Preset. If this doesn't help, please create a ticket in https://support.medal.tv/support/tickets/new so we can check why Medal isn't capturing your Clips.
