The Midland Greenway (formerly Midtown Greenway) is the centerpiece of Gainesville redevelopment efforts south of the Downtown Square. This Urban Brownfields rails-to-trails project follows the north-south route of an abandoned historic railroad line and will be Gainesville’s downtown connection to the Highlands to Islands trail system.
