It’s from a virtual / Google phone number. Kind of suspicious. Obviously, I’m not “Mary”. Mostly, the VoIP number leads me to believe it’s a set up. I always assume that texts like this are baiting the recipient to respond, allowing the next step of the scam to proceed.

You can only report it as junk, block the number and delete. Some phone companies let you forward them junk and phishing scams via text. Idk if they do anything about it though.
