10kg Check-in Bag: If you wish to check in a bag, you can add a 10kg Check-in Bag to your booking. Bags must be dropped at the airport check-in desk before security and will be placed in the aircraft hold. 20kg Check-in Bag: If you require a larger baggage allowance, you can add a 20kg Check-in Bag to your booking.

Please note that regardless of cabin class and Cathay status, we will not accept any single bag that is over 32 kg / 70 lbs in weight or 203 cm / 80 inch long in total dimension.
If you have purchased a Check-in Bag you must check this in at the bag drop desk at the airport. If you bring your Check-in Bags to the boarding gate, you will have to pay a fee per bag, to place them in the aircraft hold. If you do not pay the Gate Bag fee you will not be able to board your flight.
Maximum Weight of Carry-on Luggage for Business Class passengers: 22 lb/10 kg. Maximum Weight of Carry-on Luggage for First Class passengers: 33 lb/15 kg. All First and Business Class passengers can also bring one 1 garment or soft bag not more than 8in/20cm thick.
