However, it is probably best to reserve a spot for your pet on the plane as soon as possible since Spirit doesn't allow more than six pet carriers per flight.
Check out size and weight limits for bags here, as well as embargo restrictions. Remember: You can bring one personal item and bring items like an umbrella, camera, infant diaper bag, assistive devices, outer garments (e.g., coat, hat and wrap), reading material and food for the flight for no additional charge.

On domestic flights, Spirit will only accept domestic dogs, cats, small domestic rabbits and in some cities small household birds including parrots, finches, canaries and parakeets.
