Checking in online at Spirit.com is free, and it's the quickest way to check in for your flight and print your boarding pass. Check-in begins 24 hours before departure and ends an hour prior to departure.
You can check in 48 hours in advance and up to two hours before departure and drop your bags at our dedicated baggage drop counters when you reach the airport. You can use our web check-in facility up to two hours before departure for international flights and an hour for domestic trips.
We may require a carry-on bag to travel as a checked bag if it cannot be safely stowed on a particular flight. Checked bags: Maximum of 62 linear inches (length + width + height; 158 cm) including handles and wheels and maximum of 50 pounds(22.6 kg)in weight.
If you check in online and purchase your bags in advance (that weigh 50 lbs. or less), you are eligible for our Bag Drop service at the airport. PRO TIP: If you are traveling internationally, you'll be required to enter your passport information before buying any bags or seats and printing your boarding pass.
